January closure

COVID-19

The decision has been taken to close St Botolph’s Church from after the service on Sunday 3rd January until a review at the end of January. It is with regret that the church will not be open for Private Prayer either, but we have a duty of care to all those with whom we come into contact and Covid transmission rates have led to this decision.

St Botolph’s Church continues to be alive and active, but our building must temporarily close for the month of January

We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling ill with COVID-19. We must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives and protect our medical services.

Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in this building.

Our website contains details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study, and community life    www.stbotolphnorthfleet.org.uk

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

To protect the vulnerable, please do not leave your home except for essential trips.

And so we pray ......

Keep us, good Lord under the shadow of your mercy.

Sustain and support the anxious.

Be with those who care for the sick.

Lift up all who are brought low.

May we find comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Amen
